A single sweeping curve of ivory boucle wraps a hand-shaped molded-foam shell, seated on a low cast-iron plinth with a hand-blackened finish. The silhouette reads as a hug from three sides.

The shell is molded, not upholstered — so there are no seams, no piping, no tufting to fatigue. The base weighs 42 lb, which keeps the chair planted even when you sit sideways. Weight capacity 350 lb.
